What a Discovery Day looks like
A Discovery Day is designed for businesses that know something needs to change but are not yet clear on the best way forward.
Before the session, we agree the area of focus, identify the people who should be involved and gather any useful background information. This means the day can concentrate on the real issues rather than spending time establishing the basics.
During the session, I works with you and the people closest to the challenge to understand how the business operates today. We explore the current processes, data, systems and ways of working, looking at what is working well, what is creating friction and where the greatest opportunities may exist.
The discussion is practical and focused on your business. It might explore where AI could add value, how data could support better decisions, whether a manual process could be automated, or how an existing technology challenge could be approached differently.
By the end of the day, we will have identified the most realistic opportunities and agreed which actions should be prioritised. The aim is not to produce a long wish list, but to create a clear and achievable route forward.
After the session, you receive a recommendations report and prioritised roadmap explaining what to do next, why it matters and where to begin. This gives you something practical that can be shared with your team and used to guide future decisions.
A Discovery Day can be delivered remotely or on-site, depending on the business and the people involved. It is a fixed-scope engagement with no obligation to commission further work from Node9. You can use the recommendations internally, take them to another provider or ask Node9 to help with the next stage.
